Working with a local consignment store can be a Win-Win for home stagers, sellers, agents and the local owner of the consignment store.

I have found working with local businesses to be a big PLUS when it’s time to refer clients.   Case in point….“Design  Furniture Consignment” in San Ramon.

As a home stager, there are many times when I advise the seller or agent to edit out pieces of furniture.  The seller is often in a position of wanting or needing to dispose of these pieces….downsizing, relocating etc.  That’s when I refer them to Barb Randall at “Design Furniture Consignment”.  Time after time she has quickly met with the seller to preview their items….arranged to pick up the furniture…. and has it SOLD in short order… putting $ in the sellers pocket.  Barb has made many sellers happy and it was so easy and stress free!

From time to time I also like to “freshen” up my inventory of staging accessories. The items I want to take out of my inventory and pass onto a “good home”…those go to “Design Furniture Consignment”.   Barb quickly has them on the floor and “For Sale”!  Love having that check at the end of each month!

And from time to time….I too find something special that is For Sale at this consignment store and add that to my inventory.
