Review of 2009 Home Staging By the Numbers Indicates….Staged Homes SELLING!
This time each year I like to review all the stagings which were completed over the past year…..# of homes staged, # of homes SOLD, homes Leased, and how long homes were staged prior to Sale & Pick Up.
While we have all read the glut of “bad” news regarding the real estate market….my news for 2009 is that the homes which I staged were selling and selling quickly. This was particularly true during the last half of 2009.
Here are my results for 2009:
- 83.5% of Stagings SOLD….in last 6 months make that 94%!
- Staging was Picked Up by Day 66 on Average…..in last 6 months Day 52 and Q4 make that 37 Days!
- 12% which did not sell were Shown & Leased while Staged
- Only 4.5% did not sell and were taken Off Market….sellers waiting for the market to improve!
- 45% were Vacant Homes with Full Staging
- 55% were Occupied Homes ranging from Accessories Only to 3-4 Rooms of Furniture Plus Accessories
